A car with an off-beat personality
Launched officially in 1992, the model presented here is the second made on the lines of the Flins factory from 1991. While other brands stuck to more classic designs, Twingo was anything but conventional. Nevertheless, she had tremendous appeal.
A truly original design!
A few years following its launch, the French daily Le Monde wrote:
“The monobox design derives from a concept thus far reserved for large MPV vehicles. The car offers above-average interior space, and its exterior styling brings to mind an appealing little animal, with headlamps that resemble a pair of mischievous little eyes. Inside and out, the colour schemes are deliberately flashy”.
