The brand returns to the Lyon show with 18 historic versions of Renault 4
EPOQU'AUTO SHOW
For the 42nd Epoqu’Auto show in Lyon, Renault continues the 60 year celebrations for 4L. A true success story, it was produced in 28 countries, and over 8 million vehicles were sold in 100 countries, for over 30 years. On the stand, 18 historic versions of this model are on display for all lovers of old cars.
THE RENAULT STAND
On the Renault stand, surrounded by the brand’s clubs as tradition dictates, fans of old cars can discover sixty years of Renault 4 history through eighteen models spanning its entire career. From the 1960s to the present day, from combustion engines to the fully electric motors of the more recent retrofitted versions.
The exhibition presents models such as the chic and feminine version of the 1963 4L Haute Couture, recognisable by its red tartan pattern; or the model that took part in the 1980 Paris-Dakar Rally and helped the Marreau brothers win third place; and not forgetting electric versions like the E-Plein Air from 2019 and the 2021 4L Jogging.
Broken down into six themes, the stand highlights the multiple aspects of a car that has always been as much at ease in the city as it is in the countryside, in the desert or on the race track.
